Ok, what a day…

This post is to let you know about a few minor hiccups that
have occurred today…

1) PayPal is reviewing our account due to high volume of
activity.

Therefore, the DownlineSecrets.com website cannot accept
any PayPal orders at this time

And…

2) StormPay.com has changed their terms of use.

The message below appears when you try to buy something
from a StormPay button on any website:

Important StormPay Policy Change:

Dear Valued StormPay customer,

Effective immediately StormPay Inc. will no longer accept
payments for sales made outside of StormPay Auctions. If
you are an online seller who wishes to sell your product or
service through the StormPay system, your item must be
sold using the StormPay Auctions feature. Listing in the
StormPay Auctions is FREE of charge unless utilizing our
inexpensive upgraded listing options.

Q: Why has StormPay implemented this new policy?

A: StormPay has rendered certain policy changes to insure
a safer online experience for both buyers and sellers. This
policy change allows StormPay to more closely monitor the
products/services sold, insuring that sold items are within
StormPay’s acceptable use policies.

Under these new policy guidelines, customers may no
longer log into a StormPay account for the purpose of
sending money to another online user, or “offsite” website
sale. All “spends” and “receives” are and only can be for
the specific purchase of a user’s auction listing and
successful purchase of.

Subscriptions (recurring billing) is no longer supported by
the StormPay system. All current subscriptions have been
cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may
have caused.

Needless to say, it’s been crazy around here this week and
now all StormPay customers are effective too.

So, while we work out a solution to this small hiccup, I have
a suggestion

And spend some time in there learning more about the
product (especially if you upgraded to Elite before the
payment issues) and when we are back up and running
and accepting payments again, I will make an annoucnment
here at the blog.

Hi James,

Maybe this will work out for the better personally I want nothing to do with Scampay anyway. In my humble opinion they’re nothing but a bunch of crooks and I hope this encourages everyone out there to take their money out and run before they steal it.

The bright side of things is you still have an awesome product and there is still the potential in just giving it away as a downline building tool.

Is this going to hold up the launch of the script, I suppose. Just let us know when the script is ready to be released because I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

What a way to put a spanner in the works just as you were starting to soar!!!!!

Arrrgh… this will cost me a lot of money
as quite a few of my customers use Stormpay.

What about using Clickbank along with PayPal for Downline Secrets?

Good thing for you. A small delay versus getting robbed by those bandits at StormPayn.After they stole millions from the online HYIP industry they have only become more shady. One (respectable) pay to surf site Alien Trust spent a considerable amount of time searching for a payment provider that would accomodate all their needs.
The result was Uniclear. To show you the sincerity of my respect for this company I will not include my affiliate link I’m sure they will meet with your approval

The reason stormpay did this is they got sued by a classaction regarding that 12dailypro.com stuff (in case anyone was wondering why stormpay did that) they came under fire bigtime when problems started happening at 12dailypro.com

Since Stormpay is out and Paypal has suspended your account, why not try AlertPay?

After the the problems that have been happening with StormPay and PayPal, I think this may become the #1 paayment processor for Internet Marketers.

I second the recommendation for AlertPay.
I switched to them after StormPay began it’s random chargebacks. So far AlertPay has been good.

Thanks for your e-mail and update James. Sorry to hear of your experiencing the problems. For about a week I’ve heard bits & pieces about StormPay and never signed-up. At this rate, we may all be using E-gold before too long. Hopefully some other options will be reliable survivors. Thanks again

I agree with all the comments about Storm Pay. It sounds like “gestapo” tactics and I for one want no part of them.

In my opinion you’d do well to accept payment directly from all the major Credit Cards. Why should we be at the mercy of the payment processors. I know they are a convenient way to pay affiliate payment and all other payments that have to be made but there are other alternatives that are virtually less expensive and definitely more user friendly (payment via a debit card for example).

Just my two cents worth.

Taking a small break is right, James! It’ll all get sorted out. No use creating negative energy by getting up tight about the situation.

There is no use for StormPay as they are. They never were great anyway.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned GreenZap, http://certainway.greenzap.it . It is a company with integrity and also a much better alternative for PayPal. GreenZap is a payment processor of the future and will be huge. Well worth checking out.

Your product is outstanding and the small hiccups will be gone in no time.

Hang in there. If there wasn’t any excitement or demand for this there wouldn’t be a problem. I look for this to be an answer I have been searching for.

Heh James, I recommend you get a merchant account fast with no hassles through Judd Smith at PowerPay. Judd spoke at Matt Bacak’s Marketing Madness Seminar in Atlanta last month with Armand Morin and Judd is pro-internet marketer. Matt shared some nightmares with other merchant account that held up his money for months, but Judd has been a God-send. He can have you taking credit cards direct in no time. I also use 1shoppingcart.com with my merchant account. This is what Alex Mandosian and Tom Antion use.
